This is the third public debate in the competitive four-way race prior to Election Day and only included two candidates. The other two candidates, Lincoln Party candidate Greg Ballard and Libertarian Lauri Shillings, did not make the polling cutoff set by Nexstar, owner of FOX59/CBS4. To qualify for the debate, among other criteria, candidates had to receive at least 10% of the vote in a nonpartisan, professional poll.
