- Stories may not be edited other than making minor changes to conform with your publication’s editorial style or to clarify a date or location.
- Headlines may not be changed.
- The byline must include the reporter’s name and The Indiana Citizen.
- If published online, all the links in the story must be included and a link to our website (www.indianacitizen.org) must be posted with the story as well.
- Photos that accompany the story and were taken by The Indiana Citizen can only be used with the original story and must maintain the caption and give credit to The Indiana Citizen. Also, the photo cannot be digitally altered. The publication may substitute its own photo, but only if the photo is compatible with our story and is not digitally altered.
- Graphics that are included with the story can be republished but must credit The Indiana Citizen.
- None of the content can be sold for commercial use.
- If the story is shared on social media, please tag The Indiana Citizen on X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Bluesky.
