  • Worked on Frank McCloskey Mayoral Campaign.

  • Continued to work for a number of city and county campaigns.

  • Active in grassroots movements.

  • 2000: Made her first run for elected office.

  • In 2001 was elected Treasurer of the Monroe County Democratic Party, then became Vice Chair, and then Chair.

  • Ran for office again in 2012  for County Council at large

    • was re-elected in 2016 and is currently serving on the council.
